Dell Notebook Computers- A Great Value
Dell notebook computers may be quite an acquisition for somebody interested in computers and in need of one that is light and thin, therefore extremely portable. All in all, the purchase of a Dell notebook should involve an analysis of the applications it would serve for. If you want the mini-laptop for your own free time, then the Inspiron line offers all the features you may actually need. The designs in this category are to be more accessible for those who still prefer a version of computer that is portable and handy anywhere they might be. However, these Dell notebook models are not highly performing like the ones in XPS line, but they can be upgraded. As it results from the above lines, the XPS line of Dell notebooks remains professionals’ choice as these can really support the different needs of their users.
Need help chosing a dell laptop. I have to choose betwen Latitude D830-2 and Inspiron XPS M170?
They both have intel core duo 2.00 Ghz. The difference is that the XPS, which looks great, has 2 Gb Ram and a NVIDIA GeForce Go 7800. The Latitude has 1Gb Ram and a GeForce Quadro NV 140m. I want to play Crysis, Bioshock, UT3 and Assassins Creed on this laptop. They dont need to run with maximum performance. But they need to run decent an with no lag. Which should i choose. I'm in a hury because i only have a short while to decide. Please Help

The XPS is designed for gaming, the Latitude D830 is a business laptop that is about to be discontinued shortly. Also, avoid any Dell that is not an XPS, as they suffer from quality and reliability problems (especially the D series you are considering).
