Sony LCD Inverter testing question?
I hooked up a older gateway laptop lcd to my sony inverter to see if the inverter was bad because they had the same output connection. It did not light up the lcd. So I am just checking to make sure even though they are different models and one is a lot older the inverter should still light up the other LCD right?
No that would be an assumption!
did you check that the florescent "lights" use the same voltage and amperage. cause an older screen may have a much higher voltage or amperage requirements (the easiest way to check is to look up the output from you newer inverter and the output for your older inverter)
