Samsung LN52A750 Customer Review
Samsung LN46A750 has a fantastic picture quality right out of the box, but if you would like the best image quality you should have it calibrated. There is nothing better then this tv when it it's fine-tuned for your ambient.
Samsungs TOC or Touch Of (Red) Color, I have heard a lot of things about it. In my opinion it is hardly visible and gives it a decent feel on the edges of this Samsung LN52A750.
I have been really content with this TV. It has a lot of connectors and great quality. You could check the manual with caution if you got any component connections because just 1 set on the television has that function and it says composite on the back.
There are some small gripes but nothing to be concern about. The operating system is a little delayed. When going through menus it may take a while to respond but I'm picky about that. Couple of the control buttons like the jog wheel operate better for a person who uses it slowly and presses more firmly.
Buttons for channels and volume squeak a bit but not in an bad way. The other downside of the remote is it is not universal. I don't like that a TV in this price range doesn't come with one.
The picture quality of HD stuff are beautiful with right and properly vivid colors. Not too saturated and over processed like Sony televisons. There are times when the upscaling of lower quality signals shows something to be desired. Sometimes when a person's face can seem a bit granulated or boxy. This can be well fixed with using a HD source. With HD sources this TV is perfectly brilliant.
Combine it with Blu ray player or some other HD source and you will be in heaven. I really like it. Just keep in mind that this TV, like other high contrast tvs, uses a semi glossy screen which can shine so be take care of your light sources in the area. It reflects about as much as a standard flat screen tube TV with standard glass, but probably a bit less.
Last the audio is adequate. I never was a fan of the built in speakers on any TV but for those who don't care that much about it the sound is simply adequate. One thing I have discovered though is that the television processes video quicker than my own amplifier processes sound. It happens that the television can go ahead of my surround sound system and the sounds don't align. This is easily resolved by pausing the video and start it again. It doesn't happens offten and usually only when I start or when I'm fast forwarding a image.
Conclusion is that this is a great tv, and most likely the best tv sets at this price range, money well spent and will satisfy absolutely everyone.
With Samsung's products you can't go wrong. And you for sure can't go wrong in picking this special Samsung LN52A750. We trust that we assisted someone to make the right decision. I can promise to you that I can guarantee you that you will love this Tv Sets, exactly as much as I do.
We beyond any doubt recommend you Samsung LN52A750 but if Samsung LN52A750 it's a bit too pricey check for Samsung LN52A650.
Turkish company builds 65-inch Android 'tablet' with Honeycomb, 1080p support (video) (Engadget)
Want Honeycomb on your TV? You can take your chances with a Google TV-enabled
set from Sony, or you can get the full Android experience by adding a
connected tablet to your HD mix -- if Istanbul-based Ardic gets its solution
out the door, at least. The Turkish company's prototype uses a 10-inch Android
Honeycomb-based tablet to power a 65-inch LCD with 1080p support for basic
gestures, like pinch and zoom. The display currently has two touch sensors,
but a version with four sensors is on the way, which will bring multi-touch
support. The tablet is powered by an NVIDIA Tegra 2 SoC, and includes 1GB of
RAM, 16GB of flash memory, dual cameras, HDMI, USB, microSD and 3G and WiFi
connectivity. A dock enables instant connectivity with the OEM TV, including
HDMI for video and audio, and USB for touch input (a wireless version is in
the works as well).
The devs customized Android to support 1080p output, and it appears to work
quite seamlessly, as you'll see in the embedded video. And this isn't simply
another goofy demo or proof of concept -- the Turkish company is in talks with
education and enterprise ...
