Fronius IG Plus 12.0-3 Inverter
Fronius IG inverters come standard with an integrated LCD that displays and records over 20 parameters pertaining to inverter and system operation.
These Fronius inverters feature additional capabilities that include exterior detectors and remote displays, thanks to its 3 progression plug-ins.
Furthermore, users can utilize their own personal computers in order to upgrade their inverters with most recent software/application enhancements.
Just like the scaled-down versions of the inverters, the above 3kW larger inverters are manufactured using 2 of the smaller version’s power phases.
When these inverters see array capacity at less than half, one stage turns off, giving the inverter higher efficiency during periods of low isolation.
Featuring the many benefits of the IG line, the Fronius IG Plus inverters also has a lockable code-compliant DC disconnect possessing fused string combiner within a detachable access chamber that remains on the wall in case the inverter is due for maintenance.
Additional accompaniments include field suitability for 208, 240 or 277 volts, two true three-phase output models that can be designed for positive or negative surfaces.
The Fronius IG Plus 12.0-3 Inverter operates well via all photovoltaic modules and is ideal for all system capacities, which is also well-suited for all module settings.
Generally, due to product’s broad input voltage scope, galvanic isolation, field programmable grounding program and its accurate MPP monitoring function, the Fronius IG Plus works exceptionally with all module units, inclusive of amorphous modules.
Three efficiency peaks.
Greater power harvest for every system size: The unique automatic transformer switching function of the Fronius IG Plus makes enables not one, but three equal efficiency peaks. The result: Consistently high efficiency over a wide input voltage range.
Inverters without the transformer switching function tend to drop incessantly with an accelerating input voltage and it only has one efficiency peak as compared to the Fronius IG Plus’ three equal efficiency peaks.
The product series is considered the top caliber amidst HF devices boasting a 96.2%optimal efficiency.
MIX™ Concept.
Get the maximum power harvest out of partial load ranges, e.g. on cloudy days, through a clever combination of multiple power stages in each inverter. The power stages in Fronius inverters divide up the work depending on operating hours and only operate as many power stages as required to efficiently process available power from the PV array
Module Manager™.
Fronius retains virtually all of their IG inverters at the maximum power point (MPP) with the help of its Module Manager™ software. Users are guaranteed rapid and precise MPP monitoring to ensure that maximum energy are released for each beam of sunlight. This software is particularly essential for amorphous modules whose MPP can be very complicated to trace.
Smart Ventilation Design.
To avoid exposure to the product’s outlet board, cooling air flow is absorbed in on the wall surface and sent through a sealed method over the heating basin making sure that surrounding elements such as airborne debris or humidity stays outdoor.
At the same time, the components are kept cool – the device operates with a stable consistency.

The revolutionary power connector solution.
The installation of the network spot and power phases are quite simple and very secure. These components are installed separately from each other with the network spot affixed to the wall as standard while the electrical power module is simply plugged in.
Linking both parts into one protected device is the power outlet. If assistance is needed, the connector remains on the wall structure preserving all configuration settings
Field Programmable AC output voltage.
The Fronius IG Plus inverter line from 3.0 to 11.4 kW is field programmable to 208, 240 or 277 volts (Fronius IG Plus 12.0 kW only available in 277 volts), eliminating the need to install different inverter models to accommodate three-phase installations.
